This course focuses on emergency scenarios that face professionals looking after young children and infants, including teachers, playgroup leaders, childcare providers, au pairs, nannies and childminders.

• Allergic reaction
• Asthma and diabetic emergencies
• Bleeding
• Bone, muscle and joint injuries
• Burns
• Childhood conditions (e.g. measles, meningitis, croup)
• Choking
• Eye injuries
• Foreign objects
• Head injuries
• Heat and extreme cold
• Poisoning, bites and stings
• Resuscitation (all ages CPR)
• Seizures
• Spinal injuries
• Treatment of an unconscious casualty

Pre-requisite skills/qualifications: N/A

Training Method: Theory and practical.

Certification: Valid for 3 years. Qualsafe accredited.
